Founded by longtime Disney Feature Animators, Tom Bancroft and Rob Corley, Funnypages Productions is an animation development company with character.  Bancroft and Corley met in 1990 at the newly opened Disney Feature Animation in Florida.  They soon became friends and worked together on 10 classic feature film and multiple shorts, commercials and theme park rides over a 15-year period.  Even with their major achievements, including designing main and supporting characters for classic Disney films, they still love to draw. Funnypages Productions was formed as a “one stop shop” for animation, video game, publishing and other media development.  We have experience in direction, character design, animation, storyboards, layout, and illustration techniques.  With a large group of equally experienced artists on hand, there is nothing we can’t do at Funnypages Productions.  We pride ourselves on approaching everything we do from the perspective of creating strong characters, entertaining stories, timeless themes- with an eye for all forms of media. 

FPP has provided illustration, character design and artistic animation development for clients like Disney, Big Idea Productions, CBN, Scholastic, Warner Brothers, Simon and Schuster Publishing, and Hasbro. FP Productions has also developed many original properties for film and television and illustrated over 30 children’s books.  FPP has many publishing agreements already in place for our original characters and stories.

FOUNDER’S BIOS

Rob Corley and Tom Bancroft have over 20 years of experience in the animation industry, most of which was for Walt Disney Feature animation.  They have been nominated for Annie and Rueben awards, spoken at the Kennedy Center and Suncoast Young Authors Celebration, Tampa Fl, and awarded an entry into the Chicago Children’s Film Festival. 

While at Disney, the two business partners had the opportunity to contribute animation on 10 animated feature films, 5 animated shorts, and numerous special projects and commercials.  Some of the classic films the contributed to include, “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Lion King,” “Aladdin”, “Pocahontas”, “Mulan”, “Lilo and Stitch”, and “Brother Bear”.  Bancroft was also a character designer and director for Big Idea Productions makers of the family-friendly “Veggietales” video series. 

They and their families are located in Nashville, Tennessee. 

MIKE MULLICAN

Mike Mullican has 20+ years of experience in a variety of finance and operations roles. Starting his career in public accounting, Mike obtained his CPA certification before beginning his venture into entrepreneurial opportunities. Most recently, Mike was a partner at Alcott Routon, a marketing agency in Franklin, TN where he held the positions of CFO/COO. The team successfully built the company over a period of ten years and ultimately sold to Harland Clarke.

As a partner to Rob and Tom, Mike will lead the strategic and operational business aspects of the company as Funny Pages seeks to both expand its client base and advance its' own properties.
